I got a request by one of my esteemed followers to write a poem about Lagos State. So I decided to share this.
The poem below was sent to my box last month. When I read it, I laughed. You know why? You'll see the reason when you see what he wrote about Lagos. There's a particular line in the poem that amused me..let me know when you see it. *winks.
And NO, He doesn't live in Lagos. Lol
When the day was young
In pictures I met youHouses stood so tallAs if they could talk.People littered youLike the processionof soldier ants after rain. You are like the RainYou smile, you frown.Your breeze invitesAt noon and dawnIn you talents thriveWarm welcome I foreseeLagos; acclaimed wisdom city.Poem Credit - Fakunle Busayo

Nice one Busayo. I'm expecting more poems in my box. Lol
